Welcome to Spotto. By downloading, accessing, or using the Spotto mobile application, the Spotto website at spotto.gg, or the web game at spotto.gg/play (together, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. About the service

Spotto is a daily word puzzle game. Each day, players complete a set of boards across difficulty levels, track streaks, and compare times on leaderboards. You may play as a guest without creating a linked account. The Service is available on the web and on supported mobile platforms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Accounts

• You may play as an anonymous guest or link an account with a supported sign-in provider when that feature is available.
• You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access credentials secure.
• Usernames must not be offensive, misleading, or infringe others' rights. We may change or remove usernames that violate these Terms.
• Profile avatars you upload must comply with our acceptable-use rules. We may remove images that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Cheat, exploit bugs, or use automated tools to manipulate scores or leaderboards
• Harass other players or upload harmful content (including profile images)
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service or its backend
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

5. Daily puzzles and runs

• Puzzles reset daily. Each difficulty may be completed once per calendar day unless otherwise stated.
• Leaderboard ranks and streaks are calculated from server records. We may correct errors or remove invalid runs.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of puzzles, leaderboards, or other features.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, its design, puzzles, branding, and content are owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial play. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute the Service or its content except as permitted by law.

7. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers to operate. Your use of those providers may be subject to their own terms and policies. Current providers include:

We may add, change, or replace providers as the Service evolves. Material changes to how third parties are used will be reflected in our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or for operational reasons.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where the operator of Spotto is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence still apply where required by law.
